Home Protection Plan Includes:

10% Discount - Customers will receive a 10% discount on all water heater, plumbing, and drain services up to $500. Monkey Wrench Plumbing will continue to honor discounts while the Home Protection Plan (HPP) is in good standing. HPP discounts are not valid with any other offers or discounts.

Priority Service and Dedicated Phone Line - HPP members receive priority scheduling over other customers when calling through our dedicated HPP phone line. Priority service applies during normal business hours only.

Double Parts Warranty on All Water Heater Installations - Monkey Wrench Plumbing will take the manufacturer’s standard parts warranty and double it. Double Parts Warranty only applies to new water heater installations completed by Monkey Wrench Plumbing and does not apply to customer supplied units. Warranties vary upon manufacturer.

Annual Water Heater Maintenance - HPP members receive one water heater preventative maintenance per year. Maintenance can only be used on a future visit.

  • Descaling of a tankless water heater includes:
    • Descale the Heat Exchanger to remove any scale build up
    • Clean the burner assembly to insure proper function
    • Check gas and manifold pressures to insure proper pressures are stable
    • Inspect the flame and ignition rods for proper levels and function
    • Clean out the blower and exhaust with an air compressor to remove any debris and build up
  • Descaling of a conventional water heater (up to 75 gallons) includes:
    • Tank draining
    • Cleaning of flame sensor, rods, burner assembly, and combustion chamber
    • Water Heater must have been purchased or serviced within the last 3 years

Annual Plumbing Inspection - In order to prevent future costly repairs we will do a complete inspection of the following:

  • Inspect operation of all sinks
  • Inspect operation of all toilets
  • Inspect washing machine connections
  • Water Quality Test
  • Inspect operation of all drains and accessible drain connections
    • Drain inspection includes camera inspection with video recording of findings
  • Check for Proper PSI Levels
  • Visually inspect overall condition of all accessible supply and water line connections
  • Check condition of all emergency shut off valves

Additional Benefits - Additional benefits of Home Protection Plan include:

  • No Service Call Fee - HPP members will not have to pay service call fees for services scheduled during business hours. Does not apply to emergency or after hour services.
  • Choose Your Technician - Customers can request a technician to know their home inside and out. This technician will be an expert on the customer's home.
  • Transferable - If a customer no longer owns the home associated with the Home Protection Plan, the customer may choose to transfer the plan to their new home. New home must be within the service area to apply.

 

Terms and Conditions

The Home Protection Plan (HPP) is a monthly ongoing that must remain in good standing. Monkey Wrench Plumbing will only honor continuous memberships and will not be honored if the membership lapses.
The Home Protection Plan is $39/mo. and must be paid by credit/debit card. The Home Protection Plan (HPP) will renew automatically as of the Effective Date and the payment method used will be charged at that time. Such automatic renewal will continue until canceled by the Customer. Service under this HPP shall continue until terminated by either party upon thirty (3O) days prior written notice, provided that the Company may discontinue service at any time in the event of non-payment by the Customer.
Not all services available at all locations. Additional fees may apply. Some restrictions may apply. See service center for details. Base plan covers only one water heater. Additional systems will be $210 each.
Customer is responsible for any additional service work provided outside the scope of the Home Protection Plan.
The condition of the water heater or plumbing systems will be reported at the time of maintenance service but does not imply any warranties to their performance in the future.
Potential prorated refund amount will be determined based on services provided through the time of cancellation.
Customer may receive notice of schedule for Home Protection Plan maintenance services by means of phone, email or text.
